2º Desafio - 1º Projecto / 2nd Challenge - 1st Project

Novo desafio?? Então mas ainda nem acabaste este! Bem... já vos explico melhor!


Entretanto, um breve resumo destas semanas (para quem tinha intenção de fazer um post diário, isto está mesmo mal!):
- A Lili, os meus pais e a Jeca gostaram muito das suas prendas!!
- Estive a arrumar o atelier que estava uma desgraça! A minha avózinha deu-me muitos tecidos e outros tesouros e aproveitei para dar uma grande arrumação e limpeza:

Meanwhile, a brief summary of this few weeks (for who intend to make a daily post, this is really bad!):
- Lili, my parents and Jeca really enjoyed their gifts!!
- I tidied up the studio that was a disgrace! My grandma gave me lots of fabrics and other treasures so I decided to have a major clear up:

-  As aulas já começaram! Confesso que já falhei algumas, mas estou motivada para fazer tudo este ano. Estou a gostar muito de Tapeçaria, podem ver o meu progresso:

O que mais me chateia na escola é ter mais de 1h de caminho para lá e de volta a casa, sobra muito pouco tempo que considero precioso para dedicar ao que mais gosto de fazer! Está-me a custar um pouco adaptar-me novamente... mas vou chegar lá!


Devido a esta falta de tempo por causa da escola, já comecei a pensar nas prendas de Natal. Muito cedo, dizem alguns, mas eu prefiro fazer as prendas do que comprar qualquer coisa sem significado e, com o pouco tempo que tenho agora, tenho de aproveitar todos os momentos para adiantar qualquer coisa!
Já tenho pensado algumas coisas que quero fazer e já estão várias preparadas em fila de espera para ser feitas!
Não vou mostrar nem dizer já tudo o que vou fazer, para não correr o risco de verem antes do tempo...

What annoys me most in school is to have more than 1h journey there and back home, leaves very little time what I consider precious to dedicate to what I love doing! It's hard to adapt again ... but I'll get there! Because of this lack of time on account of school, I already started thinking about Christmas gifts. Very soon, some say, but I prefer to do handmade gifts than buy something meaningless and with the little time I have now, I have to take advantage of every moment to advance anything!I have thought a few things I want to do and several are already prepared in a queue to be made!
I will not show or say everything that I am going to do, to avoid that someone sees their gift ahead of time...

Vou revelando aos poucos o que ando a fazer...
Para a cunhada do meu namorado já comecei a fazer algumas coisas, porque ela está grávida e a bebé nasce em Novembro, por isso algumas das prendas vão ser oferecidas antes do Natal! A minha ideia é fazer uma mala com muitos bolsos para organizar todas as coisas necessárias - babetes, chuchas, fraldas...
Já cortei os tecidos quase todos e já comecei a cozer algumas partes:

I'll slowly reveal what I am doing...For my boyfriend's sister-in-law I already started doing some things because she is pregnant and the baby is born in November, so some of the gifts will be offered before Christmas! My idea is to make a bag with many pockets to organize all the necessary things - bibs, pacifier, diapers ...I've cut almost all the fabric needed and already sewed some parts:

Provavelmente também vou ter de pensar numa prenda de anos para ela, que faz anos nesse mês e também para a mãe do meu namorado, que faz 5 dias antes dela!

Probably, I'll also have to think of a birthday present for her, because it's in the same month and for my boyfriend's mother too, who's birthday is five days before her!

Mas voltando ao novo desafio... um dos meus inumeros defeitos é aborrecer-me de fazer sempre a mesma coisa!
Não, não vou desistir do 1º desafio! Alias, continuo a trabalhar nele aos poucos:

So back to the new challenge... one of my many flaws is getting bored of doing always the same thing!
No, I'm not giving up on the 1st challenge! In fact, I'm still slowly working on it:

Vou fazer uma capa de para agenda com retalhos/I'm doing a cover for my agenda made from scraps

Já escolhi os retalhos que vou usar e já os cozi!/I already chose the scraps I'm using and sewed them together!

No entanto, vou intercalar o 1º desafio com este novo desafio que já andava a pensar, que consiste no seguinte:


Recolher tudo o que ache que pode ser reciclado e dar-lhe uma nova vida!


Com este espírito, reciclei uma caixinha de gelados que se parecia com esta:

However,  I will intercalate the 1st challenge with this new challenge which was already on my mind, which consists of the following:

Collect everything that I think can be recycled and give it a new life!

In this spirit, I recycle an ice cream box that looked like this:

Colei um retalho de ganga do tamanho da tampa e uma fita decorativa à volta

I glued a scrap of denim on the size of the lid and a decorative ribbon around 

Depois pintei um sol e lua de gesso, colei no centro da caixa e colei alguns botões em volta

Then I painted a plaster sun and moon, glued it in the center of the lid and some buttons around it

 Finalmente, cortei mais uma tira de ganga para tapar a marca do gelado e enfeitei com uma fita e dois botões, onde também se pode colocar uma etiqueta para descrever o conteúdo da caixa

Finally, I cutted another strap of denim to cover the ice-cream brand and decorated with a piece of ribbon and two buttons, where you can also attach a label to describe the contents of the box

Esta caixa foi feita para uma troca com o tema Sol&Lua e adorei o resultado!
Espero que gostem também da caixa e deste novo desafio ecologico.
